發行之前, 相信很多人都非常猶豫, 舊的故事集結成冊真的值得買嗎?, 包括我自己都想說要等平裝本, 或是明年跟其他小說一起攤運費. 結果一看到最新的劇情介紹....

A Touch of Dead 短篇小說集, 其中人物都是相同的, 為何CH特別強調是短篇小說集呢? 因為這幾篇故事的發展是獨立的, 沒有影響Southern Vampire Mysteries系列小說的劇情, 在之後的幾部小說也都沒有提到這幾篇故事發生的事. 或許CH在構思整個架構時決定不採用這些點子.
